FG; GIVE US OUR FREEDOM (RESOURCE CONTROL), NORTH EAT YOUR FOOD (ONION, YAM & CARROT); WE WILL DRINK OUR CRUDE OIL - NIGER DELTA

21st June, 2016

By: Sam-Michael Bayowuman

Growing up as an indigene of a host Community of the Oloibiri Oil Field and the First Oil Well in West Africa in Otuabagi Community in the then Oloibiri District of Rivers State, now Otuabagi Community in Ogbia LGA of Bayelsa State; I had earlier witnessed the use of crude oil in place of Kerosene in Stoves and Lamps for Cooking and Lighting in the early 90s by villagers inhabiting the Oil-Rich Clan (Ogbia) because of the high poverty rate, and inadequacy, unavailability and inaccessibility of human physiological needs to the villagers. This occurred after the Oil wells and Community(ies) were abandoned in "forest" and "darkness" which created an easy access of the crude oil to the villagers for domestic use and using the raw crude oil worked perfectly. The only difference was the high carbonated sooth it produces from the incomplete combustion because it is a raw unrefined crude.
Everyday, over 90% of the World's population uses the by-products of crude oil - Value is demand, and scarcity increases Value. The actions of the Niger Delta Avengers has already left a Legacy on the Crude price globally - Scarcity Value. Ranging from Gas - Bitumen - Diesel - Kerosene - Gasoline - Lubricating oil - Tar, Wax and the Premium Motor Spirit -PMS(Petrol) are all by-products of refined crude oil. Even the poorest man in the villages uses either of these by products, Kerosene in lamps or stoves or to set up cooking fire. Cars uses fuel (PMS), Tractors and giant power generators uses diesel, Jets and Aeroplanes uses Gasoline; what about the "fuel oil" for ships and sea vessels? Bitumen and tar which are almost waste products of crude oil distillation are used by construction companies for road construction and roofing, all machines, engines and bolts uses lubricating oil to maintain normal functioning. These are all by-products of refined crude.

Crude oil losing its value means the world stopping the construction of roads wit bitumen and tar, stopping the use of lubricating oil, diesel, kerosene, Gasoline, PMS(petrol), and Gas. Maybe in a "STAGNATED WORLD" this can exist.
Crude oil is one of the first natural resources that can never lose its value. Mare non-factual claims cannot even do that, that sycophants generate and circulate in order to weaken the minds and spirits of Niger Deltans in their quest for Resource Control/Freedom.

The impression the Nigerian Government is trying to create that crude oil will lose commercial value is only delusional and of falsehood and and far in centuries after the next twenty generations must have existed and gone. A new product can only come out of crude oil and can neither be outmoded .

Nigeria in alliance with Oil Operators should STOP destroying the Niger Delta soil and painting the Niger Deltans as people who are Lazy to work (farm) when they steal and acclaim all the government and financial aides for mechanised farming whenever allocated whereas the Southerners are left with nothing in the presumption of being Lazy people. This holds a high condemnation!

Niger Deltans are been threatened for not producing foods and that they will die of hunger, NO! Never!
We agree the North produces food in commercial quantity than the South, But We are telling FG to give us our Freedom (Resource Control), North eat your food; we will drink our crude oil.
And I bet every Nigerian; we will never drink it, it will only be a challenge for Niger Deltans to produce their own food in commercial quantity to serve their nation. I assure you that just after the time Niger Delta gets its Freedom (Republic/Resource Control), crude oil price will restabilize and revalued.

The Hausa/Fulani Man needs to come into Niger Delta with a visa and vise versa. This is the only solution to Nigeria's problem.

Go with your food, Crude oil we will Drink if only our God and gods will let us drink!
